Hello all!!!
I'm Beth and I live in Scarborough, England. I am a preschool teacher and do use most of my ideas at work, I kinda use the children as guinea pigs! Anyway I will show you some of my interests and ideas and I will try to show and explain them so you can use them at home or in a classroom. The crafts and activities can range in ages.
Also one of my interests is doing up old furniture. It a new hobby that my mum and I have been doing together. This weekend I bought a new desk and i thought it would be a fun idea (as this is my first post) to show you what we did to the desk ... as a sort of before and after. I hope you like it.

This desk was second hand from a British Heart Foundation furniture store and all we did to it was sand it down (to remove varnish) then add coat of paint (willow green for the desk and handles and sky blue for the drawers), And let it dry in the sun. Some people don't like the painted furniture but sometimes it just finishes a piece off nicely.
